Deborah La Garbanza lives in the evil shadow of Oakland's Mormon Temple in a cottage with her cat, Luna. She writes fiction and memoir and her work has appeared in Q Zine. Since she was a girl, she has tried out many identities before settling into an uneasy truce with her current incarnation as a high school teacher.
